      300 flickering nightlights

20 hand made upcycled table sculptures

      5 international ballet stars

For this VIP event, Private Drama transformed One Mayfair into a magical, fairytale pop up theatre supper club in which extracts from the Royal Ballet's fire and water themed Deloitte Ignite Festival were performed.

Guests entered through a watery interior covered with mirror and drapes of Prussian blue velvet, thick silver swagging, crystal chandeliers, antique rococo mirrors and a watery trompe l'oeil effect. For the reception, the venue’s crypt was illuminated with hundreds of flickering candles. When guests made their way upstairs for the dinner the room appeared to be immersed under a river bank with tangled, twisted roots cascading down the high pillars, eau de nil table cloths, mirrored chairs and a watery projection placed within a giant silver frame. Tables were decorated with fantastical vases, glass globes and hand crafted fish sculptures made from recycled drift wood, tin and feathers. Guests were thrilled when the Royal Ballet took to the stage to perform a pas de deux from The Firebird along with The Dying Swan and a finale from Matthew Bourne's all male Swan Lake.
